Celebrate St. Patrick's Day with Non-Alcoholic Drinks

Happy St. Patrick's Day, my friends!  Hey, I didn't forget you guys.  I even learned how to say Happy St. Patrick's Day in Gaelic today.  Lá Fhéile Pádraig Sona Daoibh!  Happy green day to all of you!

Are you wearing green today?  St. Patrick's Day or  not, some people always wear green.

Leprechaun wears green.  Wait a second, leprechaun is a fairy.
The Hulk and Shrek wear green.  Wait, they don't wear green.  They are green.

So, who else wears green?
The Green Hornet
The Green Lantern
The Christmas Elves
(Not the Elves from Lord of the Rings.  Well, they wear green occasionally)
And
The Green Arrow

Yes, Oliver Queen.  We are going to watch the new episode of The Arrow (CTV / CW) tomorrow with our Non-Alcoholic Green Drinks.

Any non-alcoholic drinks for the night of St. Patrick's Day?  Yes, of course.  Here is a drink to warm us up tonight.

Non-Alcoholic Irish Coffee (1 serving)

Ingredients:

3/4 cup strong coffee
10 ml maple syrup
4 tablespoons whipping cream

Directions:

1. Warm up a coffee mug with hot water.
2. Mix coffee and maple syrup together in the warm mug.
3. Garnish with whipping cream.
4. Add green sprinkles or shamrock clover sprinkles on whipping cream.

My sis doesn't drink coffee.  She usually replaces coffee with hot chocolate.

Non-Alcoholic Irish Hot Chocolate (1 serving)

Ingredients:

1 cup milk
1 tablespoon maple syrup
1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
1 tablespoon unsweetened cocoa powder
4 tablespoons whipping cream

Directions:

1. Heat milk in a saucepan over medium heat until steaming (about 5 minutes).
2. Stir in maple syrup and vanilla extract.
3. Bring to boil and stir in cocoa powder.
4. Warm up a coffee mug with hot water.
5. Pour hot chocolate in the warm mug.
6. Garnish with whipping cream.
7. Add green sprinkles or shamrock clover sprinkles on whipping cream.

Happy St. Patrick's Day, again.  Please don't drink and drive.

Have a good night, my friends.

P.S. Will anyone celebrate St. Patrick's Day with green tea or green smoothie?

Thanks for telling me the mistakes I made on Non-Alcoholic Irish Hot Chocolate.  After I read my recipe again, I don't think anyone want to drink hot chocolate in my place anymore.  Watching TV and typing at the same time is not good for blogging.  Sorry for the mistakes.  The above recipe is the revised version.
