Inge Lehmann’s 127th Birthday - Google Doodles

Yesterday, May 12, on the eve of Danish seismologist Inge Lehmann’s birthday, I'm deeply saddened by the news of another over 7.0 magnitude earthquake hit Nepal.  My thoughts and prayers go out to those impacted by the devastating earthquake, their family members and their friends.

People in Nepal will need our help for emergency shelter, health care, food and safe drinking water.  Let's donate what we can to help people there.  Donation will be matched by the Government of Canada through the Nepal Earthquake Relief Fund.
