Downloaded the new and improved 2015 Eating Well with Canada's Food Guide.

Compared with the hardcopy of the older version I have, the new one
  • emphasizes importance of vegetables and fruits over grain products
  • has more detailed info on portion sizes and servings for various age groups and both genders
  • provides nutritious foods advice to various age groups
  • has more info on how to choose proper oils, fats and beverages
  • has more detailed info on serving size including serving size of culture-specific foods
  • gives advice on how much and how often we should exercise

So the new Food Guide is not only about food, it's also a healthy lifestyle guide.
