I made banana milk with coconut water!
Dairy-free, nut-free and refined sugar-free.
Remember the bunch of ripe bananas I mentioned in yesterday's blog post 100 Happy Days Challenge - Day 94 and the coconut water I bought awhile ago?
Main ingredients:
[banana] [cinnamon] [coconut water] [nutmeg]
Category:
[Beverages] [Healthy snack] [Quick recipes] [Raw] [Vegan]
Ingredients:
1 banana, ripe, peeled and cut
1/2 cup / 120 ml unsweetened coconut water
a pinch of cinnamon (optional)
a pinch of nutmeg (optional)
Put all ingredients in a blender (I use Magic Bullet) and blend everything
until smooth.
The homemade banana milk was creamy and sweet. It tasted like melted ice cream. Now I understand why people use banana to make
non-dairy ice cream.
With
this banana milk, my future smoothies will be sweeter and more yummy.
