Got some cooked chestnut as a gift last week.  Today is the second time I made myself a gluten-free peanut butter and chestnut rice paper wrap roll.  A quick and easy no-cooking peanut butter protein snack to avoid the midday slump.

My friends said I have an obsession with rice noodle and rose water dessert Faloodeh.  Yes, I do.  I can't wait for the morning of the hottest day to make and eat this gluten-free frozen dessert.  Especially, it tastes best within 24 hours of being made, according to chef Louisa Shafia.

Don't you find it pricey to buy oat flour?  We can just use our rolled oats at home to make some oat flour for baking.  I'm not kidding, my friends.  It's easy and good for our wallets.  I use Quaker Large Flake Oats from local supermarkets.

Carrot-Apple Cupcakes - A recipe from a local supermarket 2010

Here is another cupcake recipe for the upcoming Monday Feb 23 the National Cupcake Day.    On Monday, we are going to bake cupcakes, eat cupcakes and fundraise for SPCAs & Humane Societies across Canada.
