Elvis Presley Cake is a recipe from Synovate Global Opinion Panels' newsletter which was printed on winter 2006. But looks like it is a recipe submission from one of the people who used to answer this company's surveys.

[brown sugar] [margarine] [rolled oats] [flour] [egg] [cinnamon] [allspice] [baking soda] [walnut] [raisin] [date]

cups brown sugar
3/4
cups margarine
1
cup rolled oats
Pour
1 cup boiling water on above mixture: let stand for 20 minutes
Add:
1
cup flour
2
eggs
1
tsp. cinnamon
1/2
tsp. allspice
1
tsp. baking soda
1/2
cup walnuts
1/2
cup raisins or dates
Pour
into greased 9 inch square pan and bake 65 minutes. In moderate oven 350F. Good served with whipped cream!!
