3 Steps to Make Self-Improvement Your New Habit

Hi, friends, are you practicing self-improvement?

For the past 10 days, I have been posting one self-improvement tips each day. Have you been using the tips to make positive improvements in your life?

Many of my friends told me it’s not easy to practice self-improvement.

They all told me the same reason why they haven’t been it.

Practicing self-improvement is not one of their habits.

So, how are we going to make this a habit?

Let me show you in 3 steps.

Gratitude, New Habit, 365 Days of Self-Improvement Tips, Self-Improvement Tips, Self-Improvement, Gratitude Tips, how-to, Another Random Thought of a Procrastinator

Step 1: Decide which tips you want to use to practice self-improvement

The first step is to pick which self-improvement tips you want to practice daily. Deciding which tips you like to practice and commit to when and how you’re going to practice it, is half the battle.

Step 2: Remind yourself to get it done

Well, sticking to practice self-improvement isn’t an issue for a few days when you’re motivated and excited. But a few days later, because of various reasons, you may forget to practice it.

It’s important to have a daily reminder, my friends. Add self-improvement to your daily to-do list or use habit tracker and cute stickers to make your daily self-improvement habit fun and habitual.

Step 3: Make practicing self-improvement part of your daily routine until it becomes a habit

Yes, it takes some time for a new behavior to become a true habit. Until then, make practicing self-improvement a routine will work to your best advantage. As a routine, you will be able to practice self-improvement without having to spend a lot of willpower or relying on daily reminders.

Make practice self-improvement part of your after breakfast routine or part of your night time routine before you go to bed.

Congratulations! You decide to make self-improvement your new habit. Please use the Self-Improvement Tips and practice self-improvement daily until it’s second nature. Then, you’ll be well on your way to forming a new good habit to build a better life and feel better about yourself!

Have an awesome day and see you tomorrow, my friends!

365 Days of Self-Improvement Tips - Day 010 Gratitude Tips

You put photos on your vision board to help you accomplish your goals. You can also use photos or digital images to do this activity.

So what is this activity about?

Gratitude, visual reminders, appreciation, life experience, 365 Days of Self-Improvement Tips, Self-Improvement Tips, Self-Improvement, Gratitude Tips, quote, motivational quote, inspirational quote, great quotes, Another Random Thought of a Procrastinator

Use photos or digital images as visual reminders to trigger appreciation for your life experience.

What are examples of visual reminders?

  • A photo of your loved ones
  • A photo of your pet
  • A photo of your favourite place to visit
  • An inspirational quote
  • A clipart of your favourite item
  • A present from a loved one
  • A memorable item

In 2015, I did something similar to today’s tips. I posted a photo of what made me happy daily to join the 100 Happy Days Challenge. This challenge did help me to find small happiness and made me happier. Sadly, I’m one of the 71% participants who failed to complete this 100-day challenge. I missed around 5 days, I think.

Visual reminders help you to easily practice daily gratitude. If you put the reminders in a place where you can most likely see, you would be able to practice daily gratitude even you are busy.

Let’s start using visual reminders to practice daily gratitude and feel better about yourself!

Have an awesome day and see you tomorrow, my friends!
