My
American friends, who live in Canada, are having lots of fun celebrating both
Canada Day (July 1) and Independence Day (July 4) this week.
They
have cats and dogs. For their pets'
safety, they take extra care to keep their pets indoors and far away from noisy
people, fireworks and alcohol.

I
remember one of my boyfriends, sorry, ex-boyfriends, told me he used to keep
his cat indoors on Halloween for safety. But he never mentioned about doing the same on
Canada Day.
