Cottonelle bathroom tissue – price memo 2015

My sis likes the purple Cottonelle bathroom tissue – 2 ply bathroom tissue.  She likes the thickness of it.  So, when it is on special, we stock up.  Well, try to.

Eggo waffles– price memo

My sister loves to have Eggo for lunch.  So, this week is a good week to buy on special Eggo.

At Walmart, 16-pk is on sale as $3.97. 
Then, 1 Eggo waffle = $0.25.

At Loblaws, 16-pk is on sale as $3.99.  Well, 1 Eggo waffle is also around $0.25.   

Since I’m a PC Plus member, I get 350 points or $0.35 for my purchase.  Then, the same box of Eggo is now $3.64 and 1 Eggo waffle = $0.23.  In the future, I may receive my individual points for the same purchase.  Loyal customer?  No, I’m not.  Loyal point collector?  Yes, I’m.

At Independent, 8-pk is on sale as $2.50. 
So, 1 Eggo waffle = $0.31.

Sorry, Independent, I won’t buy Eggo at your place this week.  It’s way too expensive.

Price Memo Summary:

Buy Eggo waffle when 1 waffle is less than $0.25.

Now, think about the price, isn’t Eggo expensive?  We make waffle sandwich.  So, only the waffles themselves will be around 50 cents.  Maybe we should eat more bread and less Eggo.

Cottonelle bath tissue – price memo

Whenever things are super cheap, we should go buy them as soon as possible.  I went to Target on Sunday and I only saw 3 packs of Cottonelle bath tissue on the shelf.  They were the blue one – 1 ply bath tissue.  My sister only wants the purple one – 2 ply bath tissue.  She likes the thickness of it.  So, I didn’t buy any.

So, 1 double roll = $0.46

At Walmart, 18-pk double roll Cottonelle bath tissue is on sale this week as $8.98.  

You can also get a one-dollar coupon on the bath tissue package.  Then, 1 double roll = $0.44 which is cheaper than Target.  But without the coupon, it is $0.50 per roll.

At Rexall / Pharma Plus 4-pk double roll Cottonelle bath tissue is on sale this week as $1.99.   

I bought total 16 rolls plus other stuff I needed in order to use my 2-dollar store coupon.  Then, 1 double roll = $0.37 with the coupon; $0.50 without the coupon.

Last Thursday, 6-pk double roll Cottonelle bath tissue is on sale at T and T Supermarket as $3.00.  So, 1 double roll = $0.50.

When 12-pk double roll Cottonelle bath tissue was on sale as $5.99, I bought some too.  Now think of the price, 1 double roll = $0.50 which is not that reasonable.

I’d like to wait for the best price 12-pk double roll Cottonelle bath tissue on sale as $4.99.  Then, 1 double roll = $0.42.  When are we going to have this price again?

Even we do, if I don’t go buy them early enough, they will be all gone just like today at Target.  Well, I should get more organised and be quick to get the good deal.   

Uh, why shopping can’t be relaxing?
